While I'm not one to set New Years Resolutions, I do value creating space to contemplate the themes of the year, clarify what is most important, and envision possibilities that bring me alive. Thoughtful reflection helps me digest and make sense of my experiences, celebrate accomplishments and learn from challenges. Visioning - or dreaming - helps me imagine a way forward, clarify a direction, and choose where to place my valuable energy + attention.
This year I invite you to join me during this rich gestational time to 1) get clear about what you want, and 2) commit to small, achievable steps...or...let go and trust the unfolding.
We will gather on Zoom to move + reflect, resting in the practices of free form intuitive movement and free associative writing. This powerful combo can support us in opening to realms of knowing beyond our cognitive minds and harvesting a more full body imagining of what is possible.
INVESTMENT: Options based on Economic Justice Scale, $10-$30
$30 = I am comfortably able to meet all my basic needs, am employed or do not need to work. I may struggle at times, but overall, I feel financially comfortable.
$20 = I may stress about meeting my basic needs, but still regularly achieve them. I may have some debt, but it does not prohibit attainment of basic needs. I may have savings and some expendable income.
$10 = I am unemployed or underemployed without access to savings and have no or very limited expendable income, yet doing this workshop will be very important to me.
Once you register you will receive the link to the guide as well as all Zoom info for our gathering. Our room will open at 9:50am CST + close at 12:10pm CST. Light music will be playing as you arrive. Use this time to warm up, settle in, or prepare your space.
PREPARING YOUR SPACE:
1) Choose a location that feels inspiring for you. Make sure you have ample space to move/dance, as well as the privacy needed to stay focused. If you’d like to light a candle, create an altar, or have cozy fabrics or cushions nearby, have those set before we begin.
2) Print the guide or have paper and art supplies on hand. When we write we will use freeform journaling. This means we just write without interruption or thinking too much about grammar or spelling. We let the words flow.
